Clymer Manual - Does is the 86-88 version compatible with a 96 Savage?

I have a 96 Savage but I did not receive an owner's manual when I purchased the bike used. I really want a mechanics manual with techinical specs like, what measurements I adjust the valves to. Does the 86-88 Clymer manual still work for the 96 bike, or is there an updated version I can buy. Thanks for any responses.
